About

So glad you stopped by!   I live just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, with my husband, Nick of 30 years.  I am a mom to 5 incredible children- one daughter and four sons. Some adult and some still young.  The last 20+ years have included homeschooling, history teaching, leading in small groups and children’s ministry, writing curriculum, blogging, and running a small marketing company.

I married the man of my dreams at age 19.  After graduating from George Mason University with a degree in Clinical Psychology, we moved our life from Northern Virginia to Georgia. I came home to grow our family as a homemaker, and life revolved around children, ministry, cooking, and teaching.  Let’s face it, I’m still doing all those things, but life transitions.  We transitioned our children into public school, some into college, some into careers. Our family has experienced both great provision and fulfillment as well as disappointment, depression, disability, and uncertainty.  But life isn’t about getting it all together.  Life is just too messy for that.  It’s about leveraging all that we’ve been given for the glory of God.  And that’s just what my heart desires.

I’m humbled and honored that you’ve joined me here.  Let’s walk this road together.

                                                                                                                                  Love & Blessings,

                                                                                                                                  Rhonda

I’m a runner. I wasn’t always one. In fact, th I’m a runner. I wasn’t always one. In fact, there was a time when two minutes was all I could run without thinking I would collapse. “Do I have exercise induced asthma?” Well... no. I hated it. The process of strengthening my lungs was painful.

But, I am a runner. One thing I see now is the power of confession. The moment I began identifying myself as a runner, even a runner with a 13 minute mile, I began to see change. I started running longer and stronger. The key to becoming what you desire is as much mental as physical. When you identify and call yourself a “thing,” you act like that thing and fulfill the dream of being it!

Will I run a marathon? Probably not. But a half? Bring it. Because I’m only “half crazy!”
Yes. ⠀ Let’s be the women who stop pretending Yes.
⠀
Let’s be the women who stop pretending & instead get more honest & celebrate just figuring it out.
I’ve been working on new content for “She’s I’ve been working on new content for “She’s the Girl” - STG Marketing.

I’ve been scared out of my wits with apprehension.

Here’s why. Lately, I’ve given myself permission to dream big, to write a more desirable future, and to take action. That’s when fear grips you. That’s when you ask, “am I enough?”

But one thing is sure, dreams that don’t require some degree of risk, aren’t really dreams at all. Aspirations require action to achieve.

And each new venture requires risk. But the risk is worth it. So today, I face fear and take on the next great thing.

What dream are you ready to pursue?
Here’s to birthday treats! Here’s to birthday treats!

I’ve been eleven days here. Joanna Is seven days I’ve been eleven days here. Joanna Is seven days out from open heart surgery and all we can say is God has been kind. She still has a long road to full recovery, but she is alive! She is precious. She is valued. She is joy. Look at the twinkle in those eyes. Thank you, Jesus.
